Weegie says "Welcome"...no, really, she does...and are you totin' snackies?
DH just painted the new wall colour that I L-O-V-E...but I haven't finished with the bead board...sittin' there next to the stove is a Large Sample of the Granite I want to use for new counter tops...I'm betting on the price going lower...so I'm holdin' out until after the first of the year...
Yes, I realized after I took the photo below that DH forgot to paint over the sink...when I mentioned this, I got a rather windy explanation of why that isn't such a bad or obvious thing...DH got a rather windy explanation of why that is bad and obvious and why it'll be taken care of pretty darn soon...
I took about 12 photos...and they're mostly awful since I take crum-bum photos so this is a Limited Tour of the Heart of Our Home...Thanks to Shelia at Note Songs for hosting this lovely event...just the perfect time of year to start focusing inward on our homes and hearts...

I can't believe how bright and fresh looking you kitchen is with just a few cans of paint. I'm lovin the new look.
I'm sure with the new look when guests stop over for a few days (maybe a month or so) you'll be cookin up gourmet meals for them, just so happy to be working in that new lookin kitchen.

Your kitchen is looking great. A work in progress but I can see it will be lovely when finished. I love the bead board. I had to study to see where it wasn't painted. Smile. The drop lights are beautiful. What color will the stools be?

Well the photos you did take are great. Love the lighting. A hint I learned with photo taking is...do not use the flash...turn on all overhead lighting and lighting behind you....try it, set the camera to auto..again NO flash.

Nice wall color. It looks like a convenient kitchen. The name of the book is "Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual." There are now several numbers past 6. I upgraded to 6 a couple of years ago. Also I have a Mac and use the Mac version of the book.
