Some Times...

change can be as simple as, yes, a can of spray paint...

other times...not so much...

But, this time, I'm in luck...2 cans, actually, of paint, and a minor
irritant of several years vanished

I've gathered a few doorstops...two, no, three, were gifts and two I bought...
One I sent to a charity gift shop because I disliked it so much...
One I like just as it is...

the other three need some work..

just because I don't like the colours and they irritate me...

I have no idea why I have not dealt with these stops long before now...

I guess these stops are like other things in life that we tolerate just
because it seems more effort to halt our fast pace and actually address
the annoyance than just to keep on being annoyed...

Well, I finally stopped long enough to decide the time had come...
to either make these stops fit in around here or
to send them packing in the next box sent to the thrift shop.

And, as it ususally turns out to be, it took so little time, so little expense,
that I shake my head at my own self that I didn't do this years ago...

Why on earth put up with any thing in this life that is annoying
that can be easily removed or changed when there are so
many things in this life that are so much harder
and cannot simply be spray-painted away?

Well how about that! I'm sure the fur babies are loving the new look and wondering when the white cat with the green eyes came to live with them:) So what did the one you sent to the thrift store look like?

It was a golf bag with golf clubs...I have no idea what the thought process was behind that one since the only thing I like about golf is 1) driving the golf cart and 2) leaving the golf course...

it's all about the journey...
