My Fall Inspired Table Top,

er, shelf scape...

I did a little work with this wire cloche this afternoon...took it from steel grey to black...the little owl I love...naturally, a thrift shop find...I don't decorate a lot for Halloween...and only a bit for Autumn but I do like to have something pretty and seasonal waiting for us when we open the door...

DH walked by and said "that looks nice"...yep, ya'll got right...he spent the first part of the day in the Dog House...

when I took the pix, I decided that a leaf to the far right needed to go away...too much...and I really didn't feel like taking a new photo...but since I have yet to master more than the "crop" and "resize" tools on my Photoshop Elements*, I had to heft it up outta my chair and go take a new photo...

I will not always be that motivated...

Thanks to A Stroll Thru Life for hosting Table Top Tuesdays

*trust me...if I had mastered Photoshop Elements, I'd be sporting some Very Good Looking Photos of myself on the ol' blog :)

Love the wire cloche, and the little owl is perfect inside. Books and fall leaves always make me think of school and fall. Perfect vignette. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty

Well I'm glad hubby is out of the dog house, I would be amazed if my Mr. Hubby even noticed that something was different.

I love the cloche painted black, it makes your little owl stand out like he should.

What a cute owl. I have a cloche like that - it's sort of a rusty brown color. I may have to get out my spray paint now.

Hello...

What a pretty vignette! I love, love, LOVE that wire cloche! The owl is so fun and festive! I never decorate for halloween but I do enjoy the autumn decor. I think it's fabulous that you decorate your entryway table for the season! Thank you for sharing your pretties with us!

Warmest autumn wishes,

My son gave me a great book that explains Photoshop Elements. It is like the manual it should come with but doesn't. Can't tell you the name because I'm in the living room and the book is in the studio which is downstairs and in the opposite end of the house! That is a loooong walk! Email me if you want the name. I highly recommend the book.

it's all about the journey...
